One week weigh-in results..........258.........Down 6 nasty pounds! YIPEE!!!
I woke up extremely early this morning because of something that explained my ravenous eating slip last night. Another YIPEE! Haha, I won't let "that time of the month" slow me down! (or cause me to overeat any more than I already do. And as embarrassing as it is the "binging" really has been controlled so much more than usual) :)
8:30
Quicky Shakshuka
-2 Eggs
-1/2 Cup fresh spicy salsa
-1/2 Cup tomato sauce
-2 TBSP water
-1 Slice whole wheat bread
-1 Cup Lemon ginger tea
Okay, I have a dear friend who works at Gold's Gym. I went there this morning to get my body fat percentage measured. It was 41.3%. That is 1.3% into the Morbidly Obese range....ICK!!! It looks like a healthy range of body fat percentage for women my age is 21-33%. So my goal is to shoot somewhere in that range! :) I think I will get it measured every 30 days, along with my body measurements. She is also going to whip up a strength training routine for me. I feel like I need to be pumping some iron in addition to all the cardio that I am doing.
11:30
-1 TBSP Crunchy peanut butter
Today was a CORE 20 class and a 40 STRETCH class. I don't think I've worked an AB muscle in....well it has been a long while since I can't remember the last time I did anything to create a burn like I have right now.
1:30
-1 Package tuna
-1 TBSP RWV dressing
-8 baby carrots
-5 Small celery stalks
3:30 rolled around and just wasn't hungry, so I didn't eat.
The boys and I went to the store and picked up some tasty things for dinner. Actually we picked up things for one of my FAVORITE dishes. Haluski. I decided to alter it ever so slightly to make it healthier and honestly, I think I prefer it without the noodles. :)
5:30
-1 1/2 Cups cabbage and onions
-3 oz. Smoked Turkey sausage
-1 Cup white tea
-1 Orange
Here's what I did....
1/3 head of cabbage shredded.
1 onion sliced
1 TBSP chicken soup base (bullion)
4 TBSP water
1 TBSP I can't believe it's not butter (or butter) :)
Fresh cracked pepper
Smoked Turkey Sausage
In a pan, dissolve the bullion in the 4 TBSPs of water. Add the onion and pepper and cook for a few min. Then add the cabbage. Put the butter in and cook for a few more min. Add the sausage and serve when sausage is browned and heated through. Enjoy! :)
After dinner I enjoyed an orange and a movie with my kiddos! Great day! :)
